Dental X-ray Detector Design Project 

SH2J collaborated with Vieworks to develop the product design for DW, a dental X-ray detector integrated within dental imaging equipment. 

Although the detector is not directly visible to users or patients, it plays a significant role in shaping the overall impression of dental equipment, which can greatly influence patient comfort and trust. 

The DW was designed with a minimalistic and modern aesthetic, eliminating unnecessary elements to present a clean, approachable look. This thoughtful design approach helps alleviate patient anxiety and contributes to a more reassuring treatment environment. 

The project also considered sustainability, incorporating eco-friendly materials, energy efficiency, and recyclability into the product. 

DW was launched globally in 2021, and it is now being used across various dental care settings.
